Description

A slim scale that fits on an espresso drip tray but is big enough to sit under a Chemex or an AeroPress. If you only want one scale for both ends of your setup, this is the one.

It reads to 0.1g up to 3kg, which is the accuracy that matters for espresso and the capacity that matters for a full brew. Automatic and manual timing modes counting up to 99 minutes 59 seconds, so you can watch an extraction or time a cold brew on the same tool.

The body is ABS rated to 135°C, so a splash of freshly boiled water is not a problem, and it wipes clean. Grams, ounces or millilitres if you want to weigh liquid rather than beans.

Charges over USB-C, so it takes the same cable as everything else on the bench.

  • 0.1g accuracy, 3kg capacity
  • Automatic and manual timing, up to 99:59
  • Heat resistant ABS to 135°C
  • Grams, ounces and millilitres
  • Dual LED display
  • USB-C rechargeable, 250mAh

In the box: scale, USB-C cable, instruction manual.

The rundown

What it is, and why it's here

Most people end up owning two scales: a small one for espresso and a bigger one for filter. This is the compromise that actually works, slim enough to sit on a drip tray but with the capacity to handle a Chemex.

0.1g up to 3kg, automatic and manual timing to 99 minutes 59 seconds, and a heat resistant ABS body rated to 135C so a splash of freshly boiled water is not a disaster. Grams, ounces or millilitres, and it charges over USB-C.

Why this one

Features that actually matter

01

One scale for both ends of the bench

Slim enough to live on an espresso drip tray, 3kg capacity so it still handles a full filter brew. If you only want to own one scale, this is the shape it should be.

02

Times a shot or a cold brew

Automatic and manual timing up to 99 minutes 59 seconds. Same tool for a 28 second espresso and an overnight steep.

03

Built for a wet bench

Heat resistant ABS rated to 135C and a surface that wipes clean. Splashes are part of the job and it is built for that.
