Subscription basics

How does the coffee subscription work?

You pick a subscription type, we pick the roaster. Every fortnight a different independent Adelaide roaster does the honours, so you get a new coffee each delivery instead of the same bag on repeat.

Can I choose which roaster I get?

No, that's the point. Rotation is the feature, not a limitation. You're meant to end up trying roasters you'd never have picked yourself.

Can I pause, skip or cancel?

Any time, no lock-in. Do it yourself through your subscription portal, no need to email us for that one.

Can I change my size or delivery frequency?

Yes, from your subscription portal. Change your size, how often it lands, or your roast style whenever you like. Changes apply from your next order.

Do you do pre-paid or gift subscriptions?

Yes to both. Pre-paid gets you 3, 6 or 12 months upfront with no recurring charges. Gift subscriptions work the same way and are set up for someone else, good for birthdays, Christmas, or just because.

Roasters and coffee

Which roasters are in the rotation?

Two Fish, Altura, Vice, Dawn Patrol, Kindred, 1645, b3, Charlie Black, Coffee in Common, Elusive, Monastery, My Kingdom For A Horse, Peninsula, and our newest addition Bobby's Coffee. All independent, all South Australian. The lineup grows over time as we bring new roasters on.

How fresh is the coffee when it arrives?

Roasted the same week it's shipped, not pulled off a shelf. Orders close each Sunday, the fortnight's roaster roasts and packs fresh, and dispatch happens Thursday or Friday. See our Shipping & Delivery page for the full breakdown.

What's the difference between espresso and filter roast?

Espresso roast is developed further and holds up on a home espresso machine or in milk drinks. Filter roast is lighter, suited to pour over, plunger, AeroPress or batch brew. Tell us your setup when you subscribe and we'll match you to the right roast style.

What grind options do you offer?

Whole bean, espresso, stovetop, AeroPress, plunger, pour over, batch brew and cold brew. Pick whatever matches your brewer, or go whole bean if you grind at home yourself.

What if I don't like a coffee?

Email goodtimes@allways.coffee and tell us. We'd rather know than have you quietly cancel.

Shipping and delivery

Do you ship outside South Australia?

Yes, free shipping Australia-wide to every state and territory.

How long does delivery take?

Most metro orders arrive within 1 to 2 days of dispatch. Regional areas typically take 3 to 4 days. Full detail is on our Shipping & Delivery page.

My order hasn't arrived, what do I do?

Check your shipping confirmation email for tracking first. If it's been longer than expected or tracking looks stuck, email goodtimes@allways.coffee with your order number and we'll chase it up.

Gear and accessories

Do I get a discount on coffee gear?

Active subscribers get money off coffee accessories automatically in cart, no code needed. Check the Coffee Gear page for current terms.

Can I buy gear without a coffee subscription?

Yes, the gear shop is open to everyone. You just won't get the subscriber discount unless you're also subscribed.

Billing and account

When am I charged?

On the billing date shown in your subscription portal, which lines up with your chosen delivery frequency. You can see your next charge date any time by logging in.

How do I update my payment details or address?

Log into your subscription portal and update either directly. Address changes apply from your next unshipped order.
