Description
The Fellow Carter Move Mug 8oz is a vacuum-insulated stainless steel travel coffee mug with a ceramic-coated interior, fitted with Fellow's 360° Sip Lid. It's sized for a flat white, a long black or a small filter, which is what most of us actually drink on the way somewhere.
The ceramic lining is the point. Your coffee tastes like coffee rather than warm steel, and the mug doesn't hold onto old flavours. The 360° lid lets you drink from any edge of the rim one-handed, and the magnetic splash guard pops out for cleaning.
Fellow discontinued the 8oz Carter Move at the end of 2022. We have two, in matte black. After that, the smallest new Carter Move is 12oz.

Features that actually matter
Tastes like coffee, not the mug
The inside is coated in ceramic, so there is no metallic tang and it doesn't hang onto yesterday's long black. That coating is the main reason to buy a Fellow over a hardware-store tumbler.
Drink from any point on the rim
The 360° Sip Lid lets you drink from any edge, one-handed, like a normal cup. The splash guard is magnetic and pulls straight out for washing. It is splash-proof, not bag-proof, so keep it upright.
Sized for the coffee you actually make
8oz (236ml) holds a flat white or a small filter without a pile of empty space cooling it down. At 77mm across it fits some car cup holders, mostly newer ones, so measure yours. Fellow stopped making this size in 2022, so it's the last of a small, sensible mug.
